Finding Opportunity in Challenging Times

Policy threats, including bans of gas-powered cars and trucks, are coming from seemingly everywhere these days, leaving many of us overwhelmed with the challenges ahead. Jaime Zarraby, senior vice president of communications for the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, joins us to talk about what is at stake for our industries and how AFPM and our allies are rallying together to make a difference. In this session, you will hear about how American voters view these issues and what AFPM is doing to turn the tide.

About Jaime

Jaime Zarraby has served as senior vice president of communications at the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) since May 2017. She directs strategy and programming to increase appreciation for the fuel and petrochemical industries, promote policies that are important to AFPM’s members and respond to timely news and events.

Zarraby came to AFPM from Edelman’s Washington, D.C., energy practice where she served as executive vice president and group director, and director of client strategy. In this role, she led and advised integrated communications and advocacy programs for Fortune 100 companies and trade associations, including AFPM.

Prior to joining Edelman, Jaime led grassroots engagement for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and held various positions within the consumer branding, corporate and grassroots practices of Burson-Marsteller (now Burson Cohn & Wolf).
